Lou Proto

Lou Proto, principal of The Proto Group, has been in the commercial real estate field since 1989. He has served as the state of Connecticut Retail Co-Chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers, a post he held from 1996-2000. Lou is an active member of the Amity Club, St. Andrews Society, Sons of Italy, Porcini International, and is a past president and active member of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtor's Commercial and Investment Division. Lou resides with his wife and daughter in Bethany.

Steve Patten

Steve Patten, CCIM has specialized in the commercial field since 1994. In addition to holding a BA in economics from the University of Connecticut, he has earned degrees in architectural drafting and mechanical engineering. Steve currently serves as 2012 CT CCIM Chapter president. He has served as the Connecticut ICSC Retail co-Chairman from 2002-2005, held the position of Director of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors from 2004-2006, and is a former president and director of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtor's Commercial and Investment Division. Steve is a frequent contributor to the New England Real Estate Journal. Steve and his wife live in Cromwell.

Leslie Navarro

Leslie Navarro has specialized in commercial real estate since 1998. She has completed transactions with national, regional, and local retailers in Connecticut and New York, as well as representing property owners. Leslie is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Unit 12, Norwalk, CT. She is currently 7-Eleven's outsourced real estate representative in the State of CT. Leslie and her husband resides in Bridgeport, CT.

Kathy Proto

Kathy Proto is the Chief Financial Officer for the company.  She handles all accounts payable, receivable, and all bookkeeping functions at the firm.

Bette DeRohan

Bette DeRohan is the Office Manager and handles all administrative functions for The Proto Group.  She has been with the firm since 2005.  She is the pleasant voice on the phone and the lovely face you see when you come to visit us.  Bette resides with her husband and son in Wallingford.
